During the last week of term, 12, Year 5/6 children from Class 3 took part in a cycling proficiency course, run by former Stanton Headteacher, Mr Richard Ford.
The course, comprising of both written and practical exercises, taught the children the valuable and important aspects of the highway code, ensuring the children would have the skills to use their bicycles safely when out on public roads.

All of the children worked very hard during the sessions and even completed homework in order to earn their Level 1/2 cycling proficiency awards.

Congratulations to all of the children who participated in this course.
