Happy New Year to everyone in Class 3.
We hope you have all had a fantastic time over the festive period and are ready for an exciting term of learning.
We would like to take this opportunity to say a huge THANK YOU for all the gifts, cards and good wishes we received at the end of last term. As ever, we were completely overwhelmed by the kindness and generosity shown by the children and parents and we are so grateful.
Although this term is a relatively short one, there is lots of learning to cram in. We will be participating in an EPA ‘Rich Text’ project, which will take place across the partnership and will be an excellent opportunity to collaborate with the other teachers in Year 5 & 6. Our topic for the term is ‘Ancient Egypt’, and as part of this fascinating subject, we will be visited by Robin Price, who will be conducting an interactive assembly, followed by a class writing session. We hope that some of this fascinating learning will be shared with you in our sharing assembly at the end of January.
Further information regarding the curriculum for the term can be found on our class page. Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any other queries.
