Hedgehog Class News – 13.02.26

The children in Hedgehog Class have been absolutely fantastic this week. Miss Leeds, Mrs Morton and Mrs Pascoe have been so impressed with how well they have adapted to all of the changes. Mr Catling will be very proud of the class.

The children have had great fun writing non-chronological reports about African animals. This involved using catchy opening questions, writing in the present tense, and including facts rather than opinions.

In maths, the children have been learning how to represent multiplication in different ways and have been practising doubling two-digit numbers.

On Thursday, the children enjoyed a fun computing day, where they learned how to stay safe online and how to behave in a positive and respectful way when using the internet.

The children also took part in their first No Outsiders lesson, looking at Going to the Volcano. This lesson focused on the importance of including everyone and developing a sense of belonging.

We ended the week with a fun trip to the park to celebrate the end of term. We hope you all have a restful and safe half term
