Dear Parents and Carers,
We’ve had a busy and exciting week in Badgers Class as we move closer to the Christmas build-up!
🎤 Highlight of the Week
Our absolute highlight was taking part in the Big Christmas Sing in Oxford. The children sang beautifully and represented the school wonderfully. We also filmed our performance of “Winter Lights” for the radio, which the children were extremely proud of! A huge thank you to all parents and carers for your support — it truly made the event special.

Assessments – It has been an assessment week, and the children have worked incredibly hard. We are really proud of their effort and positive attitude. They are now raring to go as we begin our festive learning!

In RE – We have been researching how Christmas is celebrated around the world. Year 3 focused on Kenya, discovering traditions such as community celebrations, colourful church services, and shared feasts. Year 4 explored Mexico, learning about Las Posadas, piñatas, and candlelit processions.
It’s been a productive and joyful week in the classroom — well done, Badgers!
Best wishes,
Miss Benfield & Mrs Green
