I thought I’d share the fun from our World Book Day this week, we started the morning listening to some chilled music and independent reading. We then read a chapter of our guided reading book ‘Running Wild’ together and answered comprehension questions. After break, we had a guest reader (Mrs Rideout) share a story. We then made bookmarks and took part in ‘The Ultimate Book Quiz’. It was so lovely seeing all of the children dressed up and so engaged in reading.
