This week in maths, we have been consolidating our understanding of subtraction with exchanging. We looked for patterns the the calculation numbers to decide on how many exchanges we would need. In our science learning we modelled the flow of electricity around a circuit, developing our understanding of key vocabulary including current, positive, negative and component. Within our grammar lessons, we have explored the different types of sentences that we could include in a diary. Challenged, excited, determined, we wrote sentences beginning with past tense -ed verbs and -ing verbs. In supportive talk partners we planned out sentences, wrote a first draft and edited to include adjectives and adverbs alongside the learnt features.
