A Fantastic Start to the Autumn Term!

Welcome back!

Can we firstly say an absolutely huge thank you for all of the gifts and cards we received at the end of the last term. As ever, we were completely overwhelmed by your generosity but want you to know that we very much appreciate your kindness.

We hope everyone had a fabulous Summer break and that you are all feeling refreshed and ready for a busy term, filled with exciting learning.

After wishing Mr Pooley a fond farewell at the end of last term, we are thrilled to welcome a new member of staff to the Owl Class team. Mrs Kirstie Morton will be supporting the learning throughout the week and we feel very fortunate to be working with such an experienced TA.

The term is now well under way and all children have settled in extremely well to the new routines. The Year 6 children look very smart in their navy jumpers and have already demonstrated their ability to set a fantastic example to the younger children.

Woodlands Residential – As I’m sure you are aware, Owl Class will be heading off on our residential to Woodlands on Monday 21st October. Please can you ensure that all medical consent forms are returned as soon as possible so that all necessary preparations can be made. Please see Mrs Tingley if you require additional copies of any forms.

Homework – This will be sent home on a weekly basis.Children will be given their homework on Thursdays and this will need to be returned by the following Tuesday.

Swimming – This will begin on Friday 13th September and sessions will run every other week after this date.

Please feel free to contact any of the teaching staff via email or in person if you need any further information.

Many thanks

The Owl Class team.
