Badger Class News 02.02.24

In Badger class, we have been immersed in the vibrant celebration of Diwali, creating beautiful diva lamps and intricate rangoli patterns to understand the cultural significance of this festival. In literacy, the class has been thoroughly engaged in the novel “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory,” critically justifying their opinions of the golden ticket winners. While reading chapters 6, 7, and 8, we have noticed how Roald Dahl includes many figurative language elements to describe characters. The focus is not only on appearance but also behavior, and we’ve been exploring this through drama. Additionally, we have been deepening our understanding of division with remainders using place value and whole-part models.
