Dear Parents and Carers,
What an excellent first week back! It has been lovely getting to know all the children and seeing them settle so brilliantly into Badgers Class.
- Dream Big! – We have enjoyed reading lots of Little People, BIG DREAMS books and learning about inspirational people. The children then created their own front covers, thinking about their own hopes and dreams and reminding themselves that they can aspire to be whatever they want to be!
- In English – We explored atlases and took part in a mystery hunt to locate Egypt and find our missing explorer! This was an exciting introduction to our new Ancient Egypt topic and certainly sparked lots of curiosity.
- In RE – We delved into Judaism and began thinking about why agreements and rules are important in everyday life. We discussed what our classroom, collective worship and playtimes might look like without them – we decided it would probably be carnage!
A fantastic effort from everyone this week. We are so pleased with how well the children have settled in and are looking forward to our first full week together next week!
