Badger Class News 08.05

Dear Parents and Carers,

We’ve had another fun and successful week in Badgers Class!

  • In Maths – We enjoyed a pizza party, using “pizza dough” to represent different fractions and help us understand how fractions work in a practical way.
  • In Science – We carried out some exciting investigations, testing whether milk, white, or dark chocolate melted the fastest. We also explored freezing by testing whether milk, hot water, or cold water froze first.
  • In PE – We practised our dribbling skills, working hard to beat our opponents while keeping control of the ball.
  • In English – To celebrate David Attenborough’s 100th birthday, we created non-chronological reports about endangered species. The children worked hard to educate others about the importance of protecting our planet and the wildlife we share it with.

It has been another fantastic week full of teamwork, curiosity, and creativity. We are already looking forward to Week 5!

Best wishes,
Miss Benfield and Mrs Green 🌍
