Welcome back! Badger Class has been aiming high this week, showing excellent learning attitudes and stamina. In English, we’re focusing on writing narratives from different perspectives, inspired by The Egyptian Cinderella. In maths, we’re building confidence with addition and subtraction, strengthening our understanding of place value, and developing our skills with concrete, pictorial, and abstract methods.
In science, we’ve been exploring the role of the skeleton in protection, support, and movement. This learning has been embedded through our PE fitness unit as we are considering the importance of movement in our daily lived. This term, Year 4 will also be learning to play the bell plates with our school chaplain, Heather. We’re working hard to develop our skills, hoping to perform for an audience at Christmas!
