Dear Parents and Carers,
It has been lovely welcoming the children back after half term for such an exciting and busy week!
-
In Maths – We have started our new topic on multiplication and division. The children have been using practical equipment to make arrays, share equally, and explore grouping to build a strong understanding of these new concepts.
-
In English – We began our new class book, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. We kicked off the week in a very exciting way by drinking hot chocolate while reading the opening of the story! The children are already hooked and full of brilliant ideas.
-
In Science – We investigated the digestive system, learning how food travels through our bodies and why each part is important for keeping us healthy.
-
Swimming – The children have shown great confidence and enthusiasm in the pool, developing their skills and independence.
- In PSHE – We shared some of our goals for 2026, alongside considering some long term goals and ambitions we had for our futures.
It has been a fantastic start to the spring term, and we are really looking forward to all the exciting learning ahead!
Best wishes,
Miss Benfield & Mrs Green.
