This week has flown by! We kicked off the week by taking part in the ‘First Maths Challenge’, the children did really well and will be coming home with their certificates today. FMC is a great opportunity for children to use mathematical thinking and look at problems in different ways. The Badgers worked very hard finishing their explanation texts, I have included a few examples in the photos and you will get to read them when books come home at the end of term. We were excited to move onto our new and final class text ‘The Song of the River’, we are going to use this text to inspire us to write from an alternate point of view, personifying the river.
