Welcome back, and Happy 2025!
We are delighted to see the children return with such enthusiastic and hardworking attitudes. This week, we began exploring life in the rainforest, our exciting new topic. The children have been busy gathering their current knowledge and brainstorming questions they’d like to answer during our studies this term. As we delve into this fascinating subject, we’ll be developing our investigative skills through plant studies and challenging our understanding through research.
On Wednesday, our Year 4 pupils had the honour of attending a Commissioning Service for our chaplain, Heather. They performed beautifully on their bell plates and represented our school with excellence.
In PSHE, we’ve been reflecting on our own hopes and dreams for the future, while in music, we explored and performed well-known ballads, including David Bowie’s Space Oddity.
With lots of partner work and effort, the children have really impressed Mrs Blackmore throughout the week!
