Badger Class News 10.6.22

Badger Class had a great first week back. On Monday, we started our new Science Topic ‘living things and their habitats’. First, we modelled our own invertebrates, then went on an invertebrate hunt and used keys to classify what we had found. Finally, we used our new knowledge to remodel our invertebrates to see if we could classify them into a group. In Maths, we have started learning about properties of shape and had a fun practical lesson completing lots of shape enquiries. In Geography, we are continuing to study rivers. This week, using our developing knowledge and vocabulary, we used natural resources to create models of a river’s journey. As well as all of this, we have been practicing for ‘Festival of Voices’ and working very hard on our Summer assessments. What a great start to the Term!
