Dear Parents and Carers,
We’ve had a wonderful final week before half term, making the most of learning both in and out of the classroom.
-
In English – The children have been finishing their discussion texts about whether all cocoa farmers should receive equal pay, presenting balanced arguments and thoughtful conclusions.
-
In Geography – We went on a walk around Stanton Harcourt to explore the local area and identify nearby arable and livestock farms. We were very lucky to spot a horse enjoying a muddy bath, which caused great excitement!
-
Celebration Trip – On Friday, we enjoyed a fab trip to the park to celebrate all the children’s hard work this half term. It was lovely to see them relaxing, playing together, and having fun.
It has been a fantastic half term full of effort and progress. We wish everyone a safe, restful half term break and look forward to welcoming the children back for Spring 2.
Best wishes,
Miss Benfield and Mrs Green
