Badger Class News 13.03

Dear Parents and Carers,

We’ve had a lovely week in Badgers Class and have really enjoyed the sunshine.

  • In English – We have been learning how to use conjunctions to join clauses in sentences. The children worked in groups to create some wonderfully funky sentences, showing great creativity and teamwork.

  • In PSHE – We spent time thinking about how we are all unique and how each of us brings something special to our school community. The children shared thoughtful ideas about what makes them special and how we can support one another.

  • In Science – We carried out several enquiries, investigating which material absorbs the most water, which biscuit dissolves the fastest in milk, and which liquid causes the most tooth decay.

  • Sponsored Event – The children absolutely smashed the sponsored event this week! Thank you so much to everyone who donated to such a great cause, helping to raise money for our link school in Uganda.

It has been a great week full of curiosity, teamwork, and plenty of sunshine. Well done, Badgers!

Best wishes,
Miss Benfield and Mrs Green
