Badger Class News 14.03.25

We are making excellent progress with our play rehearsals! Lyrics for our songs are being recalled confidently and tunefully, and the adaptations made to the script to add depth and challenge are being learned with enthusiasm.

In DT and Computing, we have been exploring how the Micro:bit is used to program wearable technology. We’ve also been learning about the importance of engaging advertising that appeals to the right audience.

In Maths, we have been using manipulatives to help us divide accurately, as well as mastering how to tell the time to the nearest five minutes—a skill we have promised to practise outside the classroom!

Our Change and Adapt Science Week was a fantastic experience, filled with opportunities to see how science plays a role in the wider world. Members of FOSH came lead a seed planting gardening session and we can’t wait to observe the changes to these as the weather warms. Another highlight of the week was a fun and engaging afternoon of STEM activities led by Mr. Coleman, an engineer from Land Rover.

Well done to everyone for their hard work and enthusiasm!
