Badger Class News 17.07

Dear Parents and Carers,

What a wonderful way to finish the school year! We have had a fantastic final week together in Badgers Class, filled with fun, reflection, and celebration.

  • Transition Day – The children enjoyed spending time in their new classrooms and getting a taste of what next year will bring. We were so proud of how confidently and enthusiastically they approached the day.
  • Creative Learning – We spent time painting a variety of habitats, including oceans, deserts, and other environments, producing some fantastic artwork. We also used junk modelling to design and create our own theme parks, showing great imagination and teamwork.
  • Year 5/6 Performance – We were lucky enough to watch the Year 5 and 6 production, which was absolutely amazing. The children thoroughly enjoyed the performance and were inspired by the confidence and talent on display.
  • Final Day Fun – To celebrate the end of the year, we watched The Sea Beast and played games together. One of our favourites was guessing who was most likely to do different things, as well as testing how well we have all got to know our teachers this year!

It has been an absolute pleasure teaching Badgers Class this year. We are incredibly proud of everything the children have achieved and the wonderful individuals they have become.

Thank you for all your support throughout the year. We hope you all have a fantastic summer holiday and wish our Year 4s the very best as they move on to Year 5. We look forward to hearing about all the adventures our Year 3s have before they return in September.

Best wishes,

Miss Benfield and Mrs Green
