We have had an excellent week in Badger Class. In English we drafted, edited and published our letters to the local Head of Housing Development, to encourage them to build less houses and plant more trees. In Maths we have been working on division, using our times tables knowledge to support us. In Science, we displayed our results using a variety of different graphs including bar graphs, pie charts, line graphs and pictograms. In Geography we used atlases and Google Earth to research what territory the Ancient Maya civilisation would have inhabited, we mapped out the area identifying countries, capital cities, landmarks and surrounding bodies of water. We had a fantastic discussion about forgiveness in RE, the children made some really thoughtful and mature contributions. And of course, we have been rehearsing for our class production, less than two weeks to go!!!
