This week we had a really fun Science lesson. Our topic this term has been Geology, and so far we have looked at different types of rocks, how they are formed and the rock cycle. To assess what the children have learnt so far, they were tasked to make rocks, following the process they would go through during the rock cycle … but with chocolate! The children did so well, explaining each stage using the technical language that they had learnt and were rewarded with the leftover chocolate at the end of the lesson.
