The children in Badger Class have been fabulous this week; staying focused, working hard, and being kind towards each other!
On Monday, we had our Christingle service, where we were so impressed with the Year 6s’ organisation and presentation. Our Year 4s performed their bellplates with confidence, making it a truly special occasion. Heather enriched our understanding of advent symbolism with our second Godly Play session, which everyone found meaningful and spiritual.
Then on Wednesday, we celebrated Christmas jumper day and enjoyed a festive school Christmas lunch. It was a lovely mealtime filled with excellent manners and cheerful conversation.
Amidst all this activity, we also managed to learn about arrays, sharing, and grouping, laying the groundwork for our multiplication and division learning next term. We proudly published our Howard Carter diaries and kennings to conclude our fascinating study of ancient Egypt.
Everyone is now ready for a change of routine, and I hope all the children enjoy a happy and restful Christmas break. Thank you so much for your thoughtful messages, cards, and presents.
Happy Christmas from all of us in Badger Class!
