It has been so difficult to choose photographs for this week’s post. We have had so much fun! Despite the lack of rain, our Geography fieldwork, at the local stream, was a great success. The children loved getting into the water to measure depth and velocity, as well as carefully sketching maps of the surrounding environment. We continued our research on ‘The River Thames’ and have been finding out some really interesting facts: did you know the river was declared biologically dead in the 1950s but is now brimming with wildlife, thanks to dedicated conservation work? On Wednesday, we had a great afternoon playing inflatable football in the sun. Finally, we wrapped up our week with a VERY messy investigation testing the viscosity of different liquids.
