Badger Class News 22.05

Dear Parents and Carers,

What an incredible week we have had in Badgers Class! Before heading off on residential, we enjoyed a fantastic DT Day, where the children used seasonal fruit and vegetables to make delicious fruit smoothies and red pepper and tomato soup with a hint of garlic and onion. The classroom smelt amazing, and the children loved tasting their creations!

Our residential trip was such a memorable experience and full of fun from start to finish. The children enjoyed taking part in activities including the zip-wire, shelter building, crate stacking, low ropes and aeroball. We even managed to celebrate a birthday with cake! The evening around the bonfire was another highlight of the trip. We were so proud to see many of the children trying new foods, stepping out of their comfort zones, and challenging themselves to achieve fantastic things. Their teamwork, resilience, and enthusiasm shone throughout the week.

A huge thank you goes to Mrs Green and Mrs Pascoe for joining us and helping to make the residential such a success, as well as to the wonderful Standlake staff and children, who made the trip even more enjoyable and special for everyone involved.

It truly has been a week to remember!

Best wishes,
Miss Benfield⛺
