Dear Parents and Carers,
We’ve had another busy and productive week in Badgers Class!
- In English – We used macaroni to represent inverted commas, helping us to understand how to punctuate speech correctly. The children also explored a range of synonyms for “said”, creating more interesting and varied dialogue.
- In Maths – We have been tackling division with up to 3-digit numbers, using flexible partitioning and short division strategies with increasing confidence.
- In Science – We investigated whether we could compress liquids and gases, testing water and air to explore their different properties.
- In PE – We have begun our dance unit, creating routines using an 8-beat count, as well as continuing to develop our basketball skills.
