Dear Parents and Carers,
We’ve had another fantastic week in Badgers Class, with lots of hands-on learning and plenty of fun along the way!
- In English – We started an exciting new writing journey and used Duplo to help us explore coordinating conjunctions. This was a fun, practical way to see how conjunctions can connect different parts of our sentences.
- In Maths – We explored greater than, less than and equal to, using Dienes and place value charts to compare numbers. We also practised estimating on number lines, which was great fun and really challenged our number knowledge!
- In Science – We continued our learning about friction by carrying out another investigation. This time, we used toy cars and tested them on different materials to discover which surfaces created the most friction. The children enjoyed making predictions and comparing their results.
Another brilliant effort from Badgers this week – well done everyone!
