First Week Back!
Welcome back! We’ve had a brilliant start to the term, packed with fun, learning, and lots of energy! This week, we were lucky enough to have local coaches visit us for cricket and tennis coaching sessions. The children showed fantastic enthusiasm and sportsmanship throughout, and the coaches were incredibly impressed with the skill development and focus on display. A huge well done to everyone who took part – we definitely have some budding athletes in our midst! In maths, we’ve dived into the world of fractions, learning to use key terminology such as numerator and denominator. We’ve also started comparing and ordering fractions. It’s been great to see everyone thinking logically and using practical strategies to understand these new concepts! In English, we’ve begun exploring two exciting new books: The Wild Robot and The Stone Age Boy. These texts are already sparking lots of curiosity and imaginative thinking. We’re looking forward to diving deeper into the characters, themes, and adventures in the weeks to come!
