What a fantastic first week back we’ve had! This term, our focus is biodiversity, and we kicked it off with an engaging trip to Oxford Botanical Gardens. Beneath the warmth of the greenhouse glass, we experienced the conditions of a rainforest, comparing its plant life to that of an English ecosystem. We made careful observations of plants from each rainforest layer—except the emergent layer, as the greenhouse roof wasn’t quite tall enough for a great kapok tree!
In PE, we are building our football skills and understanding of the game. This week, we focused on maintaining space and close ball control for success.
