Badger Class News 28.4.23

We have been working really hard this week to imagine how people may have interacted in The Stone Age. We learnt that The Stone Age was part of prehistory or before history was recorded in writing, therefore we do not know how they communicated with each other. So we had to imagine what conversations they may have had, if they could speak our modern language. We acted out scenes from our class text ‘Stone Age Boy’, creating conversations. We then went on to practise punctuating speech and learning how to ‘show not tell’ how a character may be feeling through the use of dialogue. We have really enjoyed doing this and next week we will be writing our own scene from the story, which will include a conversation between two characters.
