Badger Class News 3.11.23

After the half term break, Badgers Class have returned with fantastic learning attitudes. On Tuesday morning, we discovered many unusual clues which lead us to uncover our new class book ‘Arthur and the Golden Rope’. So far, we have make links with other familiar stories and our historical understanding of the Vikings and Anglo-Saxons. However, we are yet to discover how Arthur will use his special rope!

On a blustery afternoon, we began our research into the difference between the Vikings and the Anglo-Saxons, giving our opinions using the historical evidence presented. “Interestingly, I now understand why the the word Viking’ means ‘pirate raid and this definitely makes sense.” reported one of our class members.

Our new science focus is ‘electricity’. We have been hunting for mains appliances and battery powered devices, considering how the electricity is used. We want to continue our searches at home.
