Dear Parents and Carers,
We’ve had another great week, enjoying learning right across the curriculum in Badgers Class!
-
In English – We took part in a lively discussion about whether we agreed or disagreed with the statement “Chocolate is the best sweet treat.” Later in the week, the children went on a scavenger hunt to find reasons for and against cocoa farmers receiving equal pay, helping them to think carefully about fairness and different viewpoints.
-
In Maths – We have continued practicing our times table facts, building speed and confidence through regular repetition and games.
-
In Science – We learned about oral hygiene and why it is important to look after our teeth. The children then experimented with different toothbrushes to see which worked best to clean teeth effectively.
-
In Music – We explored a range of musical instruments, experimenting with sounds and working together to create music.
It has been a fantastic week full of discussion, investigation, and creativity.
Best wishes,
Miss Benfield and Mrs Green
