This week, Badger Class has been diving deep into learning and collaboration! In computing, we refined our coding skills using Scratch, working together to improve and develop our exciting rainforest-themed games. It was amazing to see how teamwork helped us troubleshoot and enhance our projects! We explored different ways to boost our fluency and speed in multiplication facts, and our dice game quickly became a group favourite. Patience is key when it comes to scientific observations! As part of our ongoing experiment, we’ve been carefully tracking the effects of dyed water on celery and flowers. Each day brings new discoveries, and we can’t wait to reveal our findings soon. On Friday, Mrs. Tingley received a concerning letter about plans to “smarten up” the lane outside our school—by cutting down trees to widen the road. This news was disappointing, and we all had strong opinions about it. Determined to make a difference, we hope to help Mrs. Tingley persuade the building company to rethink their decision. Every voice matters, and we’re ready to stand up for our environment! It’s been a fantastic week of learning, problem-solving, and standing up for what we believe in.
