Badger Class News 5.7.24

This week, Badger Class has been busy designing, building, and evaluating our own castles. We needed to carefully consider the features of a castle, the design brief that we would follow, and who we would be making our castle for. We only wish that we could have had even more time because we were enjoying ourselves so much. Many of us continued making adaptations once we had taken them home.

Our focus in maths has been on shape, specifically 2D, 3D, and symmetry. We have revised our knowledge of shape vocabulary, looked throughout the school grounds, and used this knowledge to support our construction of castles using 2D nets to carefully construct 3D shapes.

We have shown fantastic dedication to improving our running stamina ahead of our Olympic running competition. We are all improving and are enjoying the challenge of not stopping for 4 laps of our track!
