This week has flown by in Badger Class! We have been supporting each other using our ‘brain, board, buddy, boss’ strategy to challenge and develop our thinking.
In science, we researched nutrients to create a useful reference leaflet. We now have a better understanding of the foods that make up a balanced diet.
In literacy, we discussed inferences within a non-fiction text, identifying the clues that supported our thinking. We then applied this understanding to our reading books, sharpening our analytical skills.
With nerves and excitement, Year 4 held their first bell plate performance in front of an audience—a proud moment for all involved!
Finally, on Monday, we held a lively debate: Did Cleopatra die from a snake bite? With convincing speeches, we explored whether Octavian orchestrated her death or if Cleopatra was in control of her own destiny. The debate ended with a class vote, showcasing our reasoning and public speaking skills.
