Badger Class News 7.6.24

We have been learning about angles this week, so took our learning outside to move in quarter turns clockwise and anitclockwise. We could then use this to develop our understanding of acute, obtuse and right angles. Once we started looking we could find angles everywhere!

In English we are developing our writing journey to ensure we have the skills to write explanations about the journey of a river. We enjoyed dropping in ‘ing clauses’ to our sentences and have explored how to write using the present perfect tense.

In science we are focusing on living things in their environment. After looking for similarities in grouped living things, we sorted animals using scientific classification. We began to link this understanding within our branching data bases learning in computing.

Next week, Year 4 are completing the Mulitplication Check so they continue daily to recall these facts!
