Badger Class News 8.7.22

Although it has been a short week, we’ve managed to fit a lot in. On Tuesday, we walked a section of the Thames path. We had a wonderful time, it was great to hear the children applying their Geography knowledge whilst spotting various river features. We were also able to incorporate our science learning, spotting the various wildlife living in the different habitats we passed. We have had the opportunity to get hands on in our Maths this week, where we have been learning about measure. First, we looked at time and practised converting between analogue and digital, then we moved onto mass, where the children worked as teams to see how many classroom objects they could find weighing more than a pencil and less than a dictionary, they then presented their findings using number lines.
