Badgers News 10.10.25

Dear Parents and Carers,

We’ve had another busy and exciting week of learning in Badgers Class!

  • In Maths – We have been wrapping up our rounding work, exploring Roman numerals, and investigating number bonds to 1000 in preparation for our new addition and subtraction unit.

  • In English – The children have begun exploring non-chronological reports, identifying their key features and discussing how to make information clear and engaging.

  • In RE – We acted out the story of The Fall, helping us to understand its meaning and how it connects to Christian beliefs.

  • In Science – We experimented with battery power, testing how many bulbs a single cell could light up. The children really enjoyed predicting and observing the results!

  • In PE – Working in groups, we used our bodies to make different shapes and explored how we can work together to create balanced and interesting poses.

It’s been a great week full of curiosity, teamwork, and creativity — well done, Badgers!

Best wishes,

Miss Benfield & Mrs Green
