Dear Parents and Carers,
It’s been another busy and enjoyable week of learning in Badgers Class!
- In Maths – We have continued to explore place value and build our confidence with numbers.
- In English – The children have written fantastic character descriptions of Hiccup and Toothless, making great use of fronted adverbials and extended noun phrases to improve their writing.
- In Art – We have been practising tone through still life drawings. The children particularly enjoyed sketching sweets and experimenting with shading.
- In PSHE – Our focus has been on exploring emotions, with role play helping us to think about how different feelings can be expressed and understood.
- In RE – We have been learning about stewardship and thinking about how Christians believe they can look after God’s creation.
A big thank you to everyone who attended the parents’ meeting on Wednesday evening — it was lovely to meet so many of you.
