It has been a lovely week in EYFS. We have welcomed some new children and families to our class and it has been wonderful watching the children grow in confidence this week whilst they explore the learning environment.
This term our topic is ‘Super Me’, where the children will learn celebrate how unique they all are, discuss their interests and share what is special about them. We began by looking at ourselves in the mirror and using paint and wool to design a paper plate face. The children enjoyed looking at each other’s art work.
Monday afternoon is our PE session. Busy Bee’s please can you have a labelled PE kit in school.
We will start Talking Tuesday next week. Children will split into two groups, (group A and group B) and will bring in their objects on alternate weeks. This is a very popular session and is great to encourage communication and interaction and listening. We encourage the audience to ask some interesting questions!
