This week in Bunnies we have been looking at the class text ‘Commotion in the Ocean’! We have enjoyed the rhyming elements of the story and looking at lots of different sea creatures.
Our sound of the week has been ‘l’ for ladder, thinking about words where we can hear this sound. In maths we have been looking at shapes and position.
Outside, we have enjoyed lots of water play, making prints from car tyres and paint, and creating passports for our holiday topic!
Inside, we have been creating marks in our indoor sand tray, creating waves with different mediums (pen, pencil, crayons), and printing with bubble wrap – making textured starfish!
Today, we celebrated Sir David Attenborough’s 100th birthday by having a real animal focus – lots of masks, animal small world play, and a short circle time on how he has helped the world.
Have a great weekend!
