This week our sound has been /t/ and we’ve enjoyed singing ‘Teddy Bear, Teddy Bear’ together. In maths, we have been learning about ABAB repeating patterns — the children spotted and created patterns using colours, toys, and even actions!
Our story of the week was The Little Red Hen. Some of us had the chance to bake our own bread rolls, just like the hen in the story. We also went on an exciting leaf hunt around school, collecting lots of beautiful autumn leaves.
Other activities this week included making autumn soup in our outdoor kitchen and ‘baking’ playdough bread indoors.
