This week we have been continued to read ‘The Very Hungry Caterpillar’. We thought about all the different food he eats in a week and made our own fruit kebabs. We measured caterpillars using cubes in the outside area and have been singing the days of the week song. We are becoming more confident a retelling the story now that we are familiar with it. Our Nursery Rhyme of the week is ‘ Do you know Zip and Zap?’ linking to our new sounds ‘z’ as in zebra.
The 3/4 year olds have been working hard at Rhyme Time and are able to work well as a group. In Maths we have been exploring more, fewer and the same.
The 2 year olds have been enjoying dough disco and climbing over obstacle courses in the outdoor area.
