Our book of the week has been We’re Going on a Bear Hunt. The children have loved exploring the story through a range of sensory activities, helping to bring the adventure to life. We have been practising prepositional language from the story, such as over, under and through, as we acted out different parts of the bear hunt together.
The water tray was a big hit this week when we added Jelly Baff, turning the water into a squishy, colourful sensory experience. The children had lots of fun exploring the texture and describing how it felt.
We have also been busy planting seeds, carefully filling pots with soil and watering them. We are excited to watch them grow over the coming weeks!
A big highlight of the week was our visit to Little City! The children loved exploring all the different role-play areas. We had vets caring for animals, doctors helping patients, shopkeepers running their shops and lots more. It was such a lovely morning!
