What an amazing week we’ve had to conclude this busy term. Our book this week has been ‘ A super family like ours’ . The children have enjoyed drawing pictures of their families to accompany the family photographs they have brought in from home.
In Rhyme time this week, the 3 year olds have been looking at the sound ‘ai’ as in train, and our nursery rhyme has been ‘rain, rain go away’. We are so impressed at how quickly the children have picked up this sound and their focus in their rhyme time sessions. In Maths, we have been focusing on subitising using dots.
On Wednesday we had our superhero day, the children all came to school dressed as their favorite superheroes and we had a jam-packed day of superhero fun! The children all took part in a superhero hunt in our garden, where they had to find the missing superhero puzzle pieces and work together to put the puzzle pieces together again. They all showed excellent teamwork! We also took part in a superhero dance off, which was so much fun …… but also very tiring!
