What a busy week we’ve had in Bunnies! We have continued exploring our theme of celebrations, and our book of the week has been Stick Man. The children have enjoyed joining in with the story and talking about the different things Stick Man encounters on his adventures.
We’ve also been thinking about autumn. The children used their fine motor and cutting skills brilliantly to create their own colourful autumn trees. While playing outside, we noticed lots of changes in the environment too – including discovering ice in our water tray!
Our sound of the week has been /g/ for goat. The children have had fun practising the sound and spotting things beginning with g around the classroom.
In maths, we have been exploring quantities to 3. The children enjoyed scooping porridge for the Three Bears, carefully checking they had the right number of bowls and making sure everyone got just enough!
Have a fab weekend.
