Bunnies have had a lovely and busy week this week.
Our sound of the week has been ‘g’, and our nursery rhyme focus was ‘Girls and Boys Come Out to Play’. The children enjoyed joining in with the actions and rhythm. We are getting so good with recognising sounds that we hear!
In maths, we have been looking closely at the numerals to 3 and practising matching quantities. The children are becoming much more confident at recognising small amounts and showing them in different ways.
We have continued thinking about birthdays this week. The children explored birthday cake cloud dough in our sensory area, made their own balloons and created colourful bunting for our role-play celebration space.
Towards the end of the week, we learned about Thanksgiving. We talked about things we are thankful for, and the children came up with some wonderful ideas.
