Wow what a week we’ve had!! This week we have been celebrating Chinese New Year, the year of the snake! The 3 year old’s have been getting creative by making their own clay snakes, and the 2 year old’s have designed their own classroom snake by using paint sticks. At snack time we even got to taste some of the Chinese cuisine and we all really enjoyed the prawn crackers. In rhyme time this week, our sound of the week is ‘o’ as in octopus. The 3 year old’s have been so focused and picked up this new sound so quickly! In Maths this week we have been exploring patterns. Our Nursery Rhyme this week is oranges and lemons. In PE we have been throwing and catching with a partner.
