This week in Bunnies we have been getting into the Christmas spirit – thinking about the start of Advent, even opening our interactive Advent Calendar! Our Rhyme Time sound has been ‘s’ for sun, and the children have enjoyed spotting things that begin with the /s/ sound during play.
In maths, we have been thinking about position and direction, using lots of positional language such as under, behind, next to, and in front of. The children explored this through games, movement activities, and small-world play.
We had great fun making Christmas potions, peeling Brussels sprouts, smelling oranges and spices, and mixing lots of festive ingredients together!
