This week, we have been enjoying lots of sensory play, including using foam to wash the cars, which supported our fine motor skills and imaginative play. We have also been practising our cutting skills and spending time talking about our families, sharing special people who are important to us.
Our sound of the week was ‘ai’, and the children have enjoyed listening for it and joining in with related activities. In maths, we have been subitising and counting, using practical resources to recognise amounts and build early number skills.
We were very lucky to have a music session with Mr and Mrs Payne, where we did lots of singing and nursery rhymes and enjoyed listening to the saxophone and keyboard.
Have a great weekend!
