Welcome back everyone!
We’ve had a busy first week back as we started our new topic all about Celebrations! This week we have been learning about Bonfire Night. We talked about Guy Fawkes, how to stay safe around fireworks, and described all the exciting sights and sounds we might see or hear on Bonfire Night. The children created some lovely firework paintings and enjoyed using colourful ribbons as sparklers!
Our rhyme time sound this week has been ‘h’ for hat, and in maths we have been exploring repeating patterns.
Everyone has settled back into school brilliantly, and we’re looking forward to a wonderful term of learning and celebrations ahead!
